Williams Race Tech is a family-run Modified Sedan team competing in the Victorian Modified Promotions Association (VMPA) and Australian Titles. Everything — fabrication, engineering, race prep, and trackside support — is done in-house from the Melbourne home garage. Founded in 2008, based out of Melbourne, Victoria.
Every decision we make — from the parts we fabricate to the setup we dial in — is in service of one goal: being at the front of the VMPA field.
Williams Race Tech was born from a simple belief: that a family-run team, working out of a home garage in Melbourne, can build and race a car that competes with — and beats — anyone on the speedway.
We don't have factory backing or a corporate budget. What we have is a family that builds, maintains, and races every single component of this car themselves — and the results on track prove it.

Every member of the Williams Race Tech team is family. That's not a metaphor — it's how we operate, every week of the season.
Fabrication, engineering, setup, and trackside support all happen in the Melbourne garage. No outsourcing. No shortcuts.
We're honest, passionate, and proud of where we come from. Genuine Australian speedway racing at its best.
Our supporters are part of the team. We bring you inside the garage, not just the fence line.
